This page is dedicated with love and respect to those who voted for George W. Bush in 2004, especially those who still plan to stick by him in these troubling times
The Civil War of the United States was waged from April 12, 1861 to April 9, 1865. It had a duration of 1,458 days. It was a long and bloody war because the enemy – either one – could NOT retreat (hold this thought). Somewhat more recently, Baghdad fell to Coalition forces on about April 3, 2003.
The Iraq War will become a longer war than the US Civil War in days, hours, minutes, seconds.
